Are you flying from Edinburgh Airport for a shorter trip? The short-stay car park, which is located right next to the terminal, is a great option. Like the long stay car park, Edinburgh’s short stay site offers secure parking with regular patrols and CCTV. The location is very convenient too, with less than a minute walk to the check-in desks via the fast track bridge at level 2. As with all our services, we’d recommend booking your space in advance as prices for those who pay on the day are always higher.

Edinburgh airport park and ride

A park and ride service is supplied as part of the long-stay parking at Edinburgh Airport and is operated between the car park and the terminal. Using the service is very straightforward. After you have parked your car, head to one of the bus stops. The shuttle bus comes around every 5-8 mins and takes around that time to get to the terminal too.

There are also some alternative park and ride services available that are run by other service providers. These work in the same way but can sometimes prove to be a cheaper option as the car park is based a little further away from the airport.

Meet and Greet Edinburgh Airport

One of the most convenient ways to park your car at Edinburgh Airport is to use a meet and greet service. Upon arrival at the terminal, you’ll be met by one of the car park operators. The operator will assess your car before you hand over your keys, once this has been done, they will then drive it to a secure car park for you, which leaves you free to go straight to the check-in desk.
