Heathrow Airport is the UK’s busiest travel hub, with over 80 million passengers a year passing through the airport! With that in mind, it’s a good idea to start thinking about your airport parking for your next trip from Heathrow sooner rather than later. Luckily, through Sky Parking Services, you can find and compare loads of options for parking at Heathrow with just a few clicks.

We currently have 12 car parking options available at Heathrow Airport, including convenient meet and greet services, long stay, short stay and more.

If you are flying out from Heathrow for your next holiday or business trip, you can benefit from various parking options to suit your needs and budget. All you need to decide is which option is best for you. Some of the car parking facilities available include:

Heathrow Airport Long Stay Parking

Heathrow’s long stay car park is conveniently located within the airport perimeter and is a cost-effective option for those who will be away for a longer break. The car park is around ten minutes by road from the terminal, however you needn’t worry about having to do any long walks with your luggage, as there is a free shuttle that runs every ten minutes to transport you to the terminal. The car park also offers you peace of mind that your car will be kept nice and safe while you are away with around the clock security.

Heathrow Airport Short Stay Parking

Heathrow Airport’s short stay car parking facility is just a short walk from the terminal, and offers flexibility, ease, and convenience. Simply enter the car park upon arrival and find a space. You can book for whatever length of time you wish to, and you can enjoy the comfort of being in your own vehicle. Although it is possible to arrive at the airport on the day and park here, we recommend booking in advance to get the best price and to secure a space.

Heathrow Airport Valet Parking

Valet parking is a great option if you like to keep things quick and straightforward. Valet parking services at Heathrow Airport offer total ease and convenience for travellers through a simple parking process. You simply park your vehicle in the allocated spaces right outside the terminal building and pass your keys to one of the valets. Your car will then be parked for you in a safe and secure car park until you return. Once you’re back just let your valet know that you’re ready to pick up your vehicle and they will arrange to meet you outside the terminal where you arrived and hand your keys back.

Heathrow Airport Meet & Greet Parking

This is another very convenient option, where you can drive your car to the area outside the terminal building where there will be a member of staff to meet you. You can then head into the terminal while the valet parks your vehicle for you in a secure facility with around the clock security. This is particularly good for those travelling as a family, large group or anyone with a lot of luggage to check in.

Business Parking

If you are in a hurry you can make use of the Heathrow Airport’s business parking facility. The car park offers convenient free shuttle buses that take around five minutes to get you to the terminal and the facility is available for terminals 2, 3, and 5.

Pod Parking

If you are travelling from Heathrow’s terminal 5 you can take advantage of the futuristic Pod Parking service. The concept is simple, but definitely has a futuristic feel. After parking your vehicle, there will be driverless pods waiting to whisk you off to the terminal, which takes around 5 minutes on average. This is great for those travelling from terminal 5 who are in a hurry!

How to save money on Heathrow Airport parking

A few simple steps that almost always lower the price you pay.

  1. 1

    Book a few weeks ahead

Most car parks reserve their best rates for early bookings, with last-minute prices often 20–30% higher for the same dates.

  2. 2

Match the option to your stay length

Park & Ride usually offers the lowest daily rate for week-plus trips; Meet & Greet can work out cheaper for quick weekend breaks.

  3. 3

Look beyond the closest car park

On-airport sites are often the most expensive — a 5–10 minute shuttle from an off-airport operator can cut the daily rate in half for the same stay.
